Alana Jordan died at the scene of an accident when she was going too fast and couldn't make the curve on Henleyfield-McNeill Road. Her jeep left the road and flipped throwing out Ms. Jordan and her 8 year old son. He was taken by helicopter to the Forrest General hospital and then later transferred to University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. where he was listed in critical condition.
This is a sad situation for everyone involved. To help pay for the cost of the medical bills for her son, a claim could be made against the owner of the jeep's insurance company. Most of the time these matters are settled without filing a lawsuit. Also, a claim could be made for medical pay benefits under the same policy.
