Lakesha Garner was killed in a one vehicle accident in Columbus, MS last Friday when the Ford Explorer crashed. The accident injured five other passengers in the vehicle who were taken to the local hospital. Ms. Garner died of massive head trauma.
The Columbus Police Department and the Mississippi Highway Patrol are investigating the cause of the accident.
Any passenger who was hurt in the accident has a claim against the driver's insurance company in addition to their own insurance company if there is not enough insurance coverage on the driver. If there is separate insurance coverage on the owner of the vehicle than that of the driver, then claims can be made against that policy also.
