A 67 year man from Florence, MS was injured in an accident when his vehicle was hit by a Mercedes-Benz which was going about 75 mph and ran a red light. The truck flipped so high in the air that it almost hit the traffic light according to eyewitnesses. A Pearl Police patrolman ran the car's tag and discovered it was stolen. When the driver refused to pull over, the chase began. It ended when this accident happened on Gallitin Street in Jackson, MS
